A System on Module is an ideal alternative to fully own electronics development. With our SoM approach, the benefits of purchasing a complete off-the-shelf Single Board Computer (SBC) and a custom electronic solution are perfectly combined. With Off-The-Shelf components as a generic carrier board and a SoM, the project risks will be reduced and it is possible to start with your software development as early as possible. A SoM therefore offers a shorter, more efficient and predictable development process.
Our first SoM, developed by Sintecs is the SESMX536. This is a SoM based on the Freescale i.MX536 Cortex-A8 application processor.
The uniqueness of this SoM is the multifunctional application. The module is designed so that it can be used on a carrier board as also operate fully standalone (USB or battery powered).
Our first SoM will be delivered as a commercial product but in addition there is the possibility of using this module to develop a custom specific system. Because this product was developed entirely by Sintecs using various analyzes to ensure the optimal performance, we are able to develop a custom specific application of high quality in an efficient manner.
