AR RF/Microwave added two new 6 to 18 GHz Class A High Power Solid State Amplifiers
The new 250S6G18C is a Solid-State Amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz and delivers an output power of 250 W. The new 125S6G18CI delivers an output power of 125 Watt.125 W CW from 6.0 12.0 GHz.The new amplifiers join the 20, 40 and 75 Watts 6-18 GHz models that have been introduced earlier
A front panel display indicates the operational status and fault conditions. All amplifier control functions, and status indications are available remotely using GPIB/IEEE-488, RS-232, fiber-optic serial, USB, or Ethernet. Interface connectors are located on the back panel. Local and remote operation is managed by a switch on the front panel.
Excellent TWTA Replacement
These class-A amplifier are excellent alternative to TWTA and provides high linearity, low spurios and second and third harmonics better than 20 dBc without external filtering.
Applications
It is designed for EMC RI, CI testing (MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160), antenna testing, and microwave component testing. The amplifier has full VSWR mismatch tolerance with protection circuits. This is a multiple purpose amplifier. The low level of spurious signals and linearity make it ideal for use as a driver in testing wireless and communication components and subsystems. By covering such a wide bandwidth, it is suitable for a variety of communication technologies such as CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, GSM, UWB, WiMAX etc.
