Keep Passengers Safe
Belden’s BE43769.02500 and BE43802.01500 data
cables were put to the test and have been proven to
reduce the spread of flames in case of a fire within
an individual transportation vehicle, such as a bus
or coach. Their jacket material is flame resistant,
and no harmful toxins are emitted from the cabling
during a fire.
Enable High-Speed Communication
In addition to their flame-resistant properties, the
cables also transmit data at speeds of 100Mbit/s
(Cat 5e) and up to 10Gb/s (Cat 7). This ensures
transportation vehicles can send large quantities
of data at high speeds for their own networking
needs (e.g., fare collection and ticketing), and
to offer passenger services, such as onboard
entertainment, passenger information and
multimedia.
