The lack of young talent endangers Europe as an electronics hub Door: Eurocircuits N.V.

The outlook for the electronics industry in Europe is promising:
- Chip Act: grow from 9% to 20% of world volume of chips till 2030
- Electronics manufacturing growth of average 6-7% per year for the next 10 years
- Doubling the PCB production from 1.8B€ to at least 3.5B€ till 2030

But the number of first-year students in electrical engineering is declining. In addition, more engineers will retire in the next few years than will join them.
