The use of shaker-tests described by standards like MIL-STD-810G brings the risk of undertesting or overtesting in comparison with real-life load cases, resulting in either over-dimensioning or unexpected failure. Besides this, often compliance with more than one standard is required for the same test object. This case describes an end-to-end process where shaker profiles based on measured data are generated and compared with prescribed standard shaker profiles, and how this knowledge is used to execute the shaker tests as efficient as possible in an optimized vibration certification process.
