SiC and GaN semiconductors are increasingly used in power electronics. These semiconductors operate at high switching frequencies. This places demands on the current and voltage sensors that are used to measure the efficiency and power loss of, for example, DC/DC converters, solar converters and inverters for EV drivetrains. In this session we look at the different options for current and voltage sensing and advise what the best options are to achieve the best possible results, regardless of whether you use an Oscilloscope or a Power Analyzer for the measurements.
