The latest achievement in Valmet’s history of cooperation with RÜTGERS Resins B.V. in The Netherlands is a 12-year service agreement covering maintenance and support for Valmet DNA automation system. Replacing annual service contracts that started with delivery of the first Valmet automation system delivered in the 1980s, the new long-term service agreement includes on-call, preventive and corrective maintenance, server audits, software and hardware upgrades.
“With major shutdowns typically only every two to four years in the chemical industry, the agreement is a win-win relationship with well-planned scheduling not only improving reliability but also long term system performance,” says Henk ten Kate, Engineering Manager.
“Valmet proved itself as partner in business again and we are looking forward to work with Valmet for at least the contracted the next decade and two years,” says Marco Alderlieste, Financial Manager.
