For several years experiments have been done using commercial of the shelve test equipment like microwave sources and arbitrary waveform generators to control each individual qubit. Superconducting qubits are now scaling up to many of them on a single quantum processor. Besides having more individual qubits, error correction algorithms like the Surfacecode, only need a limited number of different qubit roles.A selected broadcasting architecture has been invented to obtain frequency re-use and distribution of microwave pulses to individual or groups of qubits. The microwave Vector Switch Matrix presented is our third version scaled up to control up to a maximum of 64 qubits on a chip.
