This talk gives an overview of RF equipment and techniques that are used in the research for quantum computers. After a basic introduction on quantum technology and it’s applications it will focus on how RF is involved in this field. Several RF measurement and control concepts are described using techniques like reflectrometry and vectormodulation. Measurement equipment (both commercial and custom design) ranges from cryogenic amplifiers to FPGA based waveform generators.
