Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) is a fundamental instrument for characterizing electrical properties of devices operating at high frequencies. Present generation of VNAs have established themselves as the cornerstone measurement technology in the radiofrequency (RF) and microwave industry. With continuous down-scaling of electronic devices. The evolution of supporting measurement instrumentation plays a crucial role in development of state-of-the-art technologies. Various tasks forming a routine part in conventional measurement systems present an imposing challenge in measurement of nano-scaled devices. In this presentation, such activities related to the development of a dedicated system for measurement of nano-scaled devices at VSL are presented.
