This application note explains how to detect, characterize, and document interferers in cellular networks using the R&S®FSH spectrum analyzer. Firstly, how to use the spectrum and interference analysis functions of the FSH for each step of interference hunting is explained with a common interference source used as illustration. Secondly, the most common interference sources in cellular networks are described, with tips on how to identify them.
