New EMC requirements for lighting equipment

As the LED lamps will play an ever-increasing role in the switch to efficient use and conservation of energy, the conducted immunity requirements (ESD, burst, surge and similar) also adapt for the future. The latest challenges related to testing LED lamps, described in this presentation, re-fer to new categories of lamps, like for example “street lighting”, and higher surge test levels when compared to previous IEC requirements.
