World of Industry, Technology & Science offers solutions
Technological developments succeed each other rapidly. Social challenges, such as food safety, energy scarcity and labor shortages, require innovation and flexibility.
During WoTS 2024, exhibitors from the World of Industry, World of Laboratory & World of Electronics will show their latest technologies, innovations and tools to help you with these developments. Only together we can arrive at the best solutions. The WoTS 2024 gives you a complete overview of what is currently happening within the industry.
The most eye-catching innovations take a central place at the fair. During WoTS 2024, the HighTech Trophy will be awarded to the most innovative solution. Novelties from trade fair participants are assessed by a professional jury and by you. You can view the nominated novelties in the special gallery on the exhibition floor. The winner will be announced on Thursday, September 26.

Artificial Intelligence: take a look into the near future
The World of Industry Technology and Science (WoTS) shows the most innovative technologies live on the exhibition floor. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) seminar focuses on the role of electronics (hardware and embedded software) within AI. In addition, we pay attention to the application of AI in the manufacturing industry.
From September 24 to 27, the Jaarbeurs Utrecht will be the stage of the largest industrial trade fair in the Benelux: the WoTS 2024. In the extensive seminar program, innovation, creativity and industry join forces to show you the world of tomorrow.
Today there is an explosion of new applications in AI. The business community is now experimenting with generative AI: artificial intelligence that creates something based on an assignment.
This seminar is divided into two blocks. The first part focuses on the electronical side of AI. The second part bridges the gap to the industry.
AI requires enormous computing power. To achieve this, very powerful microchips have been developed. The first part of the seminar focuses on the development, production and applications of these microchips. The link is then made to embedded software that is built around a chip. Thanks to the software, a chip has a practical application.
The second part focuses on the application areas of AI. How is AI applied within the process industry and mechanical engineering? To answer this question, the seminar presents two concrete examples from the Industry.
Seminar Digitalisering: gebruik & visualisatie van data
Discover the power of Big Data and IIot in Industry. Learn how data collection, analysis and visualization can lead to better insights, optimized performance and proactive maintenance.
Developments in the field of digitization through the CLOUD to visualization are moving at a record breaking speed. During the seminar Digitization: use & visualization of data, JUMO, Kensan, EUCHNER and Yokogawa will present the latest innovations and share their acquired knowledge using practical examples.
Dirk Kop - JUMO, will open the seminar and demonstrate the latest technologies to automate the brewing process and visualize data. Using a brewery setup, he shows what it takes to brew beer and optimize the process.
The second presentation will be given by Wiek Wijnands of Kensan. He dives into the depths of how you can use Industrial Analytics & Machine Learning to add Predictive Maintenance to Asset Management in its full breadth. Kensan is a specialist in Asset Management and Smart Industry and has developed the Asset Health Monitor based on Weidmüller AutoML. 'Smart data' as a foundation for innovation and operational excellence.
After the break, Vladimir Dragosavic takes the stage on behalf of EUCHNER. He gives a presentation on manipulation, Smart-safety, Algorithms and AI. He discusses some striking examples and on the exhibitionfloor there is a live demo setup where you can try to discover manipulation for yourself.
